Additon of jobs at any level is good, but there are still major problem areas where the market is really really tough.
Hey Raven, look on the internet. Even Cincinnati.com has some jobs listed that arent in the paper everyday.

I have been out of work 5x since I left Cincom and in several instances took jobs that didn't pay what I was used to making and I hated taking. But hey you take what you have to sometimes. I am not suggesting this is you Raven, but I have no patience for someone who is used to making say $75,000/yr and loses his job and then whines because he can't find anything paying over $60,000. Boo fucking boo hoo (sorry Sluggo) One of Kerry's campaign commercials showed a man whining about being out of work for over a year. There's always a job to be had, even if you don't like it or it doesn't pay what you are used to making. "Any port in a storm" is good advice! I didn't like flipping burgers at Wendy's after graduating from college, but it was a job...

THE EMPLOYMENT SITUATION: MAY 2004
Nonfarm payroll employment rose by 248,000 in May, and the unemployment
rate was unchanged at 5.6 percent, the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S.
Department of Labor reported today. The May increase in payroll employment
follows gains of 346,000 in April and 353,000 in March (as revised). Job
growth in May again was widespread, as increases continued in construction,
manufacturing, and several service-providing industries.

WASHINGTON ? U.S. employers added an unexpectedly large 248,000 jobs in May, extending a nine-month hiring spree, the Labor Department (search) said Friday in a report that confirmed a strengthening economy likely to soon bring higher interest rates.
The May tally exceeded Wall Street expectations for 216,000 new jobs. Employment figures for March and April were revised up to reflect the addition of 353,000 and 346,000 jobs respectively. Payrolls have swelled by almost 1 million in the last three months alone.
